Hong Fook co-presenting the Art Exhibition “Interwoven Identities: Navigating Beyond the Surface” with Asian Arts and Culture Trust

As spring arrives, so does a space for reflection, healing, and connection. Interwoven Identities: Navigating Beyond the Surface opened on March 27 at Hong Fook Mental Health Association.
This exhibition, co-presented by Asian Arts and Culture Trust (AACT), brings together seven artists from the Asian diaspora whose practices move across memory, migration, body, and belonging. Through object, sound, textile, and ritual, their works gently invite us to consider how mental health, intergenerational knowledge, and cultural identity are interwoven.
Featuring works by Emily Au, Geoffrey Cheung, Ayumi Goto & Vridhhi Chaudhry, Lux Gow-Habrich, Cherie Leung, Phuong Nguyen, and Aysia Tse.
The exhibition runs until April 17, at 407 Huron St., second floor, and is open to the public every Friday, 1–4 PM.
The following displays will be hosted at the University of Toronto Hart House and the Stackt Market till end of May, and will be released online on Manifesto Space in June.
