As a joint tenant with the Mount Sinai Hospital Multicultural Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team at the Kwong Centre for Health and Wellness, Hong Fook will continue to provide a variety of mental health services and programs, as well as the operation of Asian Psychiatric Community Clinic (Asian Clinic) in the Downtown core. The recent Accreditation Primer Award also demonstrates Hong Fook&#8217;s commitment to taking steps to continually improve the quality of its services in this prime area. Located in the centre of the downtown universities and colleges area, this accessible branch will also support the expansion of Hong Fook&#8217;s Youth and Family Services, to engage and help post-secondary students with growing mental well-being needs.<\/p>\n<p>On the afternoon of October 5, Hong Fook launched the Korean Community Mental Health Needs Assessment Research. Over 50 service providers and community partners attended this session delivered in Korean. Hon.\u00a0Raymond Cho,\u00a0Minister\u00a0for\u00a0Seniors\u00a0and Accessibility Ontario joined the launch and delivered opening remarks.
